Whilst the quote was not the cheapest, we chose Metro Removals based on the information provided beforehand and knowing what the service would cover, unlike some providers who do not describe what is and isn't covered. I had previously used a removal company 12 months prior and whilst the were far cheaper, they had not provided any documentation and they had caused so much damage to furniture during the move. So you really do get what you pay for, but with Metro they provided all the documentation explaining what the service covered, communication was good and everything went to plan on removal day with the team being professional and courteous, they were careful when handling everything and made sure the vehicles were loaded securely.

I initially contacted Metro Removals regarding moving my piano only as part of a recent house move, as it required specialist removal. They were quick to respond with the initial quote, and it was easy to get booked in. About a week before our move, my husband injured his back, and we asked Metro Removals if they had availability to move our large furniture, which they managed to fit in at short notice. The two guys who came on the day were superb - polite, efficient and got everything packed up quickly and unpacked quickly at the new house, delivering items to each room as required. It made everything easy and stress-free, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent local removals firm. Thank you for an excellent experience!

We had an excellent experience from Metro! From the first contact, they were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. Our house move happened under very tight timelines, with exchange and completion taking place within one week, and they were able to provide a quote and take on the job at very short notice. The team worked hard throughout the move (on a very hot May day), handled everything with care, and made what could have been a very stressful process much easier. They also had a great sense of humour, which really helped keep spirits high on moving day. Excellent service, all household items handled with care. Change request to store our items dealt with promptly. On delivery day we observed a well known national company empty our new home with the speed of a sloth. However, Metro’s team emptied the lorry in under 3 hours and had all items placed in the right room in our 4 bedroom home. Happy to recommend their services and their very friendly team

From my first contact with your office through to sale completion - your team made it surprisingly so absolutely easy!! My removals required 2 days due to the distance involved. Everything was carefully packed, loaded, delivered and unloaded by very caring, considerate staff who understood not only my requirements but also that I was moving with an elderly cat. They went above and beyond to transform a horrendously stressful time into a really delightful experience. Nothing was damaged and everything placed exactly in the correct places and rooms. What an amazing team - fantastic people, considerate, knowledgeable, truly professional and helpful throughout. Would really highly recommend Metro removals. Had Steve, Mark and Liam help me move today and they did a great job. Efficient, helpful, very polite & friendly, careful with your things.
